The countdown is on! In just one week, Dun Laoghaire will become the epicentre of conversation and collaboration around Ireland’s twin transition – digital and green – as the Dargan Forum 2025 opens its doors on 2nd and 3rd July.

From cutting-edge ideas and expert panels to regional showcases and parallel sessions, the Dargan Forum is a unique opportunity to engage with Ireland’s business, policy and innovation leaders across multiple venues. Here's what to watch out for:

Headline Speaker: Adam Dorr – The Future is Coming Fast

We're proud to welcome Dr. Adam Dorr, Director of Research at RethinkX, as our headline speaker on 3rd July (9am–1pm) at County Hall. Adam is a futurist whose work explores the exponential transformation of our global systems – from energy to transportation, food to materials.

In his recent appearance on the ThinkBusiness podcast, Adam explained how Ireland stands on the brink of a profound economic transformation driven by exponential technologies. He believes these changes will unfold rapidly – “within the next 15 years” – and will redefine how economies are structured and how value is created.

He also challenged Ireland’s policymakers and business leaders to seize the moment: “The opportunity is massive. The greatest threat to any country is clinging to the status quo.” Expect an energising keynote that sets the tone for a forward-facing and fearless forum.
