Our director hosts 'The AI Advantage' panel
I really enjoyed hosting the first panel at Enterprise Nation Ireland's 'The AI Advantage' event at Vodafone Ireland this week. Of course I would love if my hometown of DunLaoghaireTown.ie had the amazing footprint of world leading companies that Sandyford Business District has, I live in hope :)
Thanks again to my panel John O'Beirne of Square, Maria Svejdar GS1, Seán Tobin of .ie and Lynsey Sweeney Vodafone. Key takeaways from the discussion included -
Lynsey - Small businesses need to embrace change and find out what's available. You might think you don't have the time, but you really need to make the time!
John - The tools are constantly getting better and easier to use.Square are a fully remote business, small businesses need to look at leveraging remote work resources more.
Seán - The productivity gains from using tech tools are significant.
Maria - International standards such as barcodes help increase security for small businesses.
It was also a pleasure to meet Minister Peter Burke again, and catchup up with old acquaintances from my Startup Ireland days Eva Lennon (née Kelleher), Sandra Reynolds and Laura Redmond from my Novara Technology time.
